The strange mom

No wake up time. No getting kids ready for school or waiting in car lines. No lunches to make. No fights to get shoes on or against teenage rebellion. I could lay in bed all day and binge watch whatever I want. Magically there’s a fresh pot of coffee made when I wake. No crap news stories causing my insides to burn. Maybe a nice walk on the beach in the afternoon. Dinner made for me and the dishes done! Pj’s by 9pm. A bowl of vanilla halo top with the Cocoa dusted sunflower seeds sprinkled in. No fighting over bed times. Pretty much me not having to be responsible for anyone else but myself. And, now I sound so selfish.
